Pamela Davies
Founder & Lead Artist
Pamela Davies is a Zimbabwean-born artist. Her maiden name is 'Mutsau', which is pronounced 'moo-tsa-oo'. She kept the name 'Mutsau' in her brand to honour where her calligraphy journey began.
Pamela fell in love with calligraphy at a young age when she first laid eyes on her father's collection of fountain pens. Although she took no lessons, she spent years refining her natural skill, exploring various styles that she now incorporates into her work. She expresses her gratitude for her God-given gift by helping brands and individuals create unforgettable experiences for brand activations and various special occasions.
Pamela help brands develop stronger brand loyalty with their customers and achieve their PR goals through personalised shopping experiences and community events (experiential marketing and activations). She works with private and corporate clients to help turn ordinary events and gifts into moments that create a lasting impact.
Pamela uses calligraphy to tell a simple story - that people are unique, valuable, and worthy of special treatment...the finest treatment. She greatly values the principle of honouring people as unique individuals, and enjoys expressing this through her craftsmanship. This principle is based on her Christian values and cultural upbringing.
